How to apply

This Summer school is generously funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) which covers travel, accommodation and food for participants. With funded places for 15 participants from Albania, North Macedonia and Germany, this Summer school is open to Archaeology students from beginners (first year BA) to more advanced students (MA).

To participate in this summer school, you need to:

  • be enrolled in an Archaeology degree at a university in Albania, North Macedonia or Germany

  • be familiar enough with English to follow lectures and practical instructions

  • be available to participate for the entire duration of the Summer school

  • have ID (passport, national ID card) that allows you to enter Albania as well as North Macedonia and Greece, where we’ll go on trips

  • pass our selection process, since we’ll likely have more applicants than places

  • a CV with your archaeological education and work experience inside and outside of archaeology
